In 2022, I helped a high school reinstate their theater program after the COVID-19 pandemic as an assistant stage manager and digital content creator for the show, TRAP! The play recounts the chilling events of a tragic theater performance where the entire audience falls unconscious at once. The self-referential nature of the script allowed us to create a more immersive and interactive experience for the audience. As an assistant stage manager, I helped coordinate actor plants in the audience to help bring the story to life on top of my scheduling and stage direction implementation responsibilities. Additionally, I photographed rehearsals and created social media graphics to promote the show. Due to the show’s mysterious nature, the marketing campaign for this production was unique. I created three different posters to share with our audience both physically and digitally. Each poster was shared chronologically and built up the story of the production by offering vague clues, generating buzz around the show.
