In my Collaborative Design Solutions source, I was randomly assigned a certain issue impacting students of the Savannah College of Art and Design. My job was to analyze the problem, address a specific aspect of the topic, and propose a feasible solution. In historic Savannah, the old traffic patterns do not allow much room for parking. Many students are vocal about this problem, but because the school is located in the historic district of the city, they cannot construct another parking lot. Instead, I chose to tackle to problem by taking the current bus tracking app used by students and adding another feature to track parking spots. This project showcases my ability to conduct research based on user feedback and generate a solution that promotes a more accessible world.
